LA Developer Unveils New Stadium With Purple Seats
The Trib is reporting that LA Developer Ed Roski announced plans today to build a $800 million dollar NFL stadium on land he already owns near Los Angeles. Roski said the stadium could be completed by 2011, the same year the Minnesota Vikings lease expires with the Metrodome.
Could we see Adrian Peterson rushing his way to NFL title's with the LA Vikings? LA already took the Lakers from MN, are the Vikings next? The San Diego Chargers would also be an attractive team to move since the 'ol Jack Murphy Stadium is dying quickly.

How about Jacksonville….they play in a horrible city and poor attendance. Not too shabby….

I hate it all. Vikings should stay in MN and LA should suck it up and cheer for the chargers. MN has already traded two great teams for two crappy ones. Does it have to happen again?

I’m a LA Vikings fan. Id Love to see them play in that stadium, and I don’t even live in CA.

Jim, MN is too small of a market for 4 Pro Teams. The legislature has chosen for you. It is Timberwolves, Twins, Wild. Oh and a looser college football program. They all rate higher than the Vikings in priority. Why shouldn’t they leave to where they will be treated like they are wanted?

OK Rick, dont even say LA vikings. thats just wrong! They have so much history in Minn. and you say it’s too small of a market. Look at Green Bay. They have an NFL team and an extremely small market even with Milwuakee. And the vikings just about sell out every game. So don’t even think about saying LA Vikings!

Yeah Rick, one big flaw in your argument. I live in Minnesota. Minnesota looooooooves the Vikings. They´re second priority only to the Twins. The Wild are well-loved but fairly new. And my beloved Timberpups are at the bottom of the barrel. I´m one of 9 people who goes to games. If theres only a big enough market for 3 teams, the wolves are next to go.

Rick – Tell me, how did the second biggest city in America lose both the Rams and Raiders to begin with? The Dodgers are doing well too I hear. The Twins, Wild and Vikings sell out nearly every game. Stick to celebrity chasing and $10,000 hand bags. Leave pro sports up to the towns that show up to watch a game rather than be seen. Also, have they vacated those BCS titles yet?

There is clearly a bunch to know about this. I suppose you made some nice points in features also.
